Intelligent design on trial: judge says ID is religion, not science

This legal decision (Dover, Pennsylvania) on intelligent design (ID) includes fascinating expert testimony from Behe, author of Darwin's Black Box.

John E. Jones III, United States District Judge, said, "It is our view that a reasonable, objective observer would, after reviewing both the voluminous record in this case, and our narrative, reach the inescapable conclusion that ID is an interesting theological argument, but that it is not science" (p. 89).

Does the ruling make its case?
